How to apply for Business visa on Arrival/VISA INBOX?

In order to promote Trade and Investment in the country, the Government of Pakistan is granting a 30 day Single Entry Business Visa in Your Inbox to the businessmen of eligible countries listed Here.
All the Interested businessmen are encouraged to apply for the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) at least 48-72 hours prior to their intended date of travel. Please Note: You can state your intent by submitting online visa application through Pakistan Online Visa System (POVS). You can travel to Pakistan if you receive by email a valid ETA in favor of your application. Without having ETA you cannot travel to Pakistan. Click Here to see the specimen of ETA.
Type of Application
First Time (New) : You can apply for a new Entry visa if you do not possess a valid Pakistan visa or your visa has expired. Always apply for Entry visa when you are applying from abroad.
Who are eligible to apply for Business Visa on Arrival/Inbox?
To avail the Business Visa in Your Inbox, you must be a citizen of the countries listed Here.
Required Documents:
- Photograph
- Passport
- Proof of registration of company which is extending invitation (SECP/ Chamber of Commerce Certificate)
- Any of the following:
- Recommendation letter from CC&I of respective foreign country
- Invitation letter from business organization duly recommended by concerned trade organization in Pakistan – In order to get this REQUIRED DOCUMENT – Please apply through Pakistan’s E-Business Invitation Letter System – For More Details PLEASE CLICK HERE!
- Recommendation letter by the honorary investment counselor of BOI/Commercial Attaché
- You are required to upload proof of legal residence, in case you are not present in your home country and are applying for visa from a third country, it’s a mandatory requirement! The document can be uploaded in the supporting document type: Other
- The officer can ask for further documents.
Validity and Duration of Visa
Business Visa on Arrival (Visa in Your Inbox) is valid for 30 Days
Processing Time
- 48-72 Hours (Working Hours)
Important Note: Issuance of Visa is the discretion of the Government of Pakistan and can be refused without assigning any reason. Thus visa cannot be claimed as a right.
Please also Note: If the application is sent back for Review to the Applicant, the set processing time will be applicable again. (The processing time will re-start from the date of re-submission of application).
The Application will stand cancelled if applicant does not resubmit his/her application in Seven (7) days from the date of application sent for review.
The computer automatically cancels such overdue application. The fee is non-refundable whether your visa is cancelled or refused. The applicant has to re-apply in such case and has to pay the fee again.

Answer No. 1. Yes, You can apply online for extentsion of visa while in Pakistan. Please keep in mind to select extension of visa instead of Entry when applying online. Extension of visa can only be applied while you are already in Pakistan on a valid visa.
